Studio Policies
Our policies are here to help create a calm, respectful, and supportive space for everyone. Thank you for helping us maintain an environment best for all community members.
1. Studio Etiquette
We invite you to make yourself at home in our studio. Please leave shoes under the benches and store personal items, phones, and electronics in the cubbies provided so we can all enjoy a quiet, focused space. You’re welcome to arrive up to 10 minutes to warm up, stretch, or relax before your session. If you come earlier and an instructor is present, you’re welcome to come in — but please note that the studio may be closed if no instructor is on site.
2. Parking and Access to Studio
Parking is free for all clients! Simply scan the code outside, enter your information, and skip the payment step — validation is handled inside the studio. You may park in any of the numbered spots by the building, along the street, or in the lot behind Agave and Rye. The studio is located through Door number 2. After entering Door 2, go upstairs and to the left.
3. Fragrance-Free Space
To support clients with allergies or sensitivities, please avoid wearing scented products during your visit (including perfume, cologne, aftershave, scented lotions, or essential oils). Your mindfulness helps keep the space welcoming and safe for everyone.
4. Attire
Wear clean, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and breathe easily. Grippy socks are preferred for safety and cleanliness — we have some available for purchase if you’d like.
5. Group Classes
Intro-level GYROTONIC® group classes are open to everyone. GYROKINESIS® classes also have no prerequisite unless otherwise stated.
For other GYROTONIC® group classes, we recommend completing at least 3 private sessions, 3 duets, or several intro-level group classes before joining — this helps ensure a safe and supportive experience for everyone. Instructors may make exceptions for clients with prior experience.
6. Cancellations
We understand that life happens! We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed sessions without notice (“no-shows”), are subject to the full session fee.
To make a change, please text or email the studio directly. If you’re running more than 20 minutes late and haven’t contacted us, the session may be considered a no-show. Exceptions can always be made at the discretion of Spiral Studio Louisville — communication is appreciated.
7. Packages & Memberships
All packages and memberships have expiration dates as listed on our Services page. If you have questions about your remaining sessions or expiration, we’re always happy to help.
