What makes these methods unique is the ability to address multiple systems of the body at once. You move in multiple planes of motion, addressing every facet of your joints and muscles. There is also a large focus on breath work which helps people accomplish the movements with ease and coordination while stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system. You become strong, aligned, and mobile with ease and calmness.

GYROTONIC® Method
GYROTONIC® Method
GYROTONIC® classes are done on specialized equipment that allows the user to find strength and range of motion with ease and coordination. It's exercise, mobility training, and a holistic mindful movement practice. Classes are held in Louisville. Exercises are done on a beautiful pulley tower that can provide both resistance and support. The handles on the bench allow your spine and shoulders to articulate smoothly and find balance in your body. The pulleys allow you to work on your hamstrings, upper body, legs, hips, and abdominals in a way that opens up your body while easing your mind. The brilliant design allows every part of the body to move in any direction with fluidity and ease. Participants become aligned, mobile, and strong without any unnecessary strain or tension.

GYROKINESIS® Method
Originally called Yoga for Dancers, Juliu Horvath refined a class format that was accessible to almost anyone regardless of age or state of health. GYROKINESIS® classes are done on a stool, mat, and standing. These classes flow continuously as the participants follow the teacher through the flowing movement and breath work. The open chain nature of the exercises is both freeing and strengthening. The classes are both exercise and a somatic experience. People leave feeling with they have massaged their own bodies through exercise, breath work, and mindfulness.
